There haven't been any updates on Formula One racer Michael Schumacher's condition due to a media blackout requested by his family.

Thankfully, the racing champion's manager, Sabine Kehm, recently talked about Schumacher when receiving a lifetime achievement by Nurburging on his behalf.

"I realize we would all like it if Michael himself could be here, but unfortunately that is not possible," Kehm said, as quoted by Express UK.

"We have to accept it and learn to deal with it. We will continue to hope and do everything so that it will be different again," Schumacher's manager went on to say.

Speaking about the lifetime achievement award endowed to Schumacher, Kehm said "This award is an acknowledgment of his great willpower, his motivation, his talent, his discipline and his work ethic."

For the uninitiated, Schumacher met a freak skiing accident at the French Alps in December 2013. He is currently getting treatment at his mansion in Lake Geneva.

It has been said that Schumacher has a long way to go before he fully recovers, but the hope of his family, friends and fans does not falter.

Last month, former Ferrari chairman Luca di Montezemolo revealed that Schumacher is actually "reacting" to the treatment and he believes that the seven-time world racing champ will one day be back on his feet again.

"I know how strong he is. I'm sure that thanks to his determination — which will be crucial — he will come out from this very, very difficult situation. And I really hope [he does]," Montezemolo told "The Circuit" on CNN.

According to Game N Guide, Schumacher is yet to be able to walk and speak.

Fans and friends continue to remember Schumacher and pray for his recuperation. For now, fans will simply have to wait until his family is ready to spill updates on his condition.
