More details regarding "Mass Effect: Andromeda" have come into prominence specifically with the way its multiplayer mode will relate to its single-player campaign mode.

Since N7 Day, when BioWare opened the floodgates in terms of information for the upcoming action role-playing game, numerous new nuggets have been revealed exciting fans more. The latest from the marketing push of the game developer is about how the multiplayer mode will relate to the whole game, narrative-wise.

In an in-depth feature by Game Informer, "Mass Effect: Andromeda: lead designer Ian Frazier and producer Fabrice Condominas spilled the beans on the supposed link. As it turns out, the tie-up will not be entirely independent from its single-player mode but it will not be as related like how "Mass Effect 3" was. Instead, it will be a perfect mix of interconnectedness and independence, giving fans the option to stay in whatever mode they deem to like more.

"You will have possibilities to send teams to complete kind of side missions, or to do it yourself in multiplayer," Condominas explained. "That's the idea."

To make things more interesting for players, "Mass Effect: Andromeda" brings back the blind card packs which means that luck will play a huge part in nabbing new weapons, character kits, and items. These packs will need virtual currency which is earned through gameplay or by buying credits with real money.

"If you don't want to be at the mercy of the random number generator for the cards, you're still at the mercy of what's in the store right now, but it's like, 'Oh, that's the Black Widow and I really want it!'" Frazier explained, referring to how the returning feature will work. "You can buy them with real-world money if you want to, but again, nothing requires that."

No official release date yet has been set for "Mass Effect: Andromeda," but fans can expect it to drop sometime in March 2017. While N7 Day was originally tipped to divulge this information, the upcoming Game Awards this week may be another potential venue for the announcement.
