Developer Bioware is scheduled to release more information about their upcoming game, "Mass Effect: Andromeda," on Nov. 7, dubbed as N7 Day. Now, things will be more exciting as the developer promises to give out bits of information even before the special day arrives.
Ian Frazier, the game's Lead Designer, made the first move when he posted on Twitter that there are a lot of gameplay content that they can share. Frazier said, "Just threw together a 'by the numbers' report for @macwalterslives on all our gameplay content. Cripes, there's a lot of stuff in this game." Even Michael Gamble, the game's producer, replied to the post and asked Frazier to send it down to him, where a 45-minute long video was said to be included.
Prior to this, Creative Director Mac Walters said that "There may be the odd tidbit. Here and there," when a fan asked about any news before N7 Day. This also came after Bioware released the first game trailer during Sony's revelation of the PlayStation 4 Pro, in a glamorous 4K resolution.
Additionally, the upcoming game will also introduce two new races, the Khet and the Remnant. Players will also be commanding a ship called Tempest and the six-wheeled vehicle named Mako will also be back. The upcoming game is also the first in the series to have open world gameplay.
Meanwhile, a bookstore worker, who is also a game fan, accidentally discovered the possible release date of the game. A user named Sunshine-ita just wanted to order "The Art of Mass Effect," a 184-page art book, from the workplace and saw that it will be available on March 21, 2017. The listing is only available for retailers, but the fan managed to post a screenshot of it on Tumblr.
Bioware previously released "Dragon Age: Inquisition" and its accompanying art book at the same time, so there is a big possibility that this may happen again with its upcoming game.
"Mass Effect: Andromeda's" release may happen during the first quarter of 2017. It will be released for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC platforms.
