The cast of "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." may be getting another new character appearing in season 3 soon with the reported addition of martial arts expert Marc Dacascos.

According to a report from Deadline, Dacascos will be coming on board to join S.H.I.E.L.D. as "Giyera," their new head of security. It will be interesting to see how deep Dacascos role will be in the series, although it is believed that he may eventually be strutting his martial arts stuff in some fight scenes ahead.

The series has been racking up new twists after the other. That includes the real score with the mysterious Rosalind Price (Constance Zimmer) of the Advanced Threat Containment Unit (ATCU) and the Grant Ward-led (Brett Dalton) Hydra.

There is also, of course, the Inhumans, with Daisy/Skye (Chloe Bennett) slowly veering away given the developments surrounding Agent Phil Coulson and the ATCU.

Lest we forget that last time out, Dr. Andrew Garner (Blair Underwood) was revealed to be that Inhuman known as Lash. Lash is eager to get hold of Lincoln Campbell (Luke Mitchell), and it will most likely be something not peaceful.

With a base that seems to be once again compromised like how Ward did it in season one, it will be pretty interesting to see how Giyera can spice up the security and deal with the fact that there are Inhumans by his side.

Seeing that Dacascos will be on the good side, such is a different take from his recurring role for "Hawaii Five-O" where he plays the villain Wo-Fat. For what it is worth, his skills should account for a more action-packed series from hereon.

But before that, there are questions to be answered and a lot of that should take place when "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." airs its next episode titled "Chaos Theory" this coming Tuesday on ABC.
