Marvel Agents of SHIELD season 2: Lady Sif returns in episode 12

With the team still in the recovery stages and Skye's (Chloe Bennett) secrets still to be fully revealed, someone will be returning to the scene in the next episode – Lady Sif (Jaimie Alexander).

The Asgardian comes at a time when the Inhumans are rising. But the twist here is that Lady Sif will be appearing with a case of Amnesia which she incurred after battling a supposedly mysterious warrior.

Apparently everything will be tied up in episode 12. Skye tries to cope up with her powers and is set to undergo a transformation. And while Coulson (Clark Gregg), Melinda May (Ming-Na Wen) and the team try to protect Skye at all costs.

With her powers and apparent transformation, Skye is expected to be a hard target which may eventually place her among the lines of potential death, given her special powers that is likely to attract the team's enemies – including her father.

In a previous post, we did mention that Cal (Kyle Maclachlan) seeks revenge on Coulson for denying him his revenge against Whitehal. Cal may eventually assemble a slew of villains which will be handled in organized fashion, giving Coulson and his team more things to worry about.

Bu going back to episode 12, it seems pretty interesting what the true score is on Lady Sif's return. Who is the mystery warrior and how will Sky be involved in all of this?

Also, there are other sub plots that are hanging in the air. What happened to Raina who has transformed into something hideous? Whatever happened to Agent 33 and Ward?

There is also that special mission that Bobbi and Mack are into which is something that both have kept away from Coulson and the team.

Hopefully episode 12 will shed more light on the matter.

Marvel Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will air this March 10 at 9 p.m. EST.
