The sequel to Man of Steel is currently being filmed, and it's not without its challenges. Behind the scenes, the Kryptonian took on the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, along with love interest Lois Lane.

Henry Cavill, in his Superman outfit, and Amy Adams who plays Lane, were each doused with a bucketful of icy-cold water, after which the 31-year old actor had five more helpings of H2O, in increasing amounts.

The superhero could say nothing more, except, "It's so cold!"

If rumors are to be believed, then Superman will meet a character in the upcoming movie who has no problems with icy water – Aquaman. It is said that Jason Momoa is being tapped for the role, although this has yet to be confirmed.

Many remember Momoa most for his role as Khal Drogo in the first season of Game of Thrones, and as Conan in the 2011 version of Conan the Barbarian. The 35-year old Hawaiian actor also appeared in Ronan Dex and Stargate: Atlantis.

While that bit of Dawn of Justice remains as a speculation, it is already confirmed that Gal Gadot will be playing Diana Prince a.k.a. Wonder Woman. Standing at 5 foot 10 inches, the Israeli actress and model can best be remembered for her role as Gisele Harabo in The Fast and the Furious films.

Ben Affleck will be taking on the role of Batman, the tired and weary superhero who suits up to hold Superman accountable for the destruction of Metropolis, an event that took place in the earlier film.

The movie will also feature Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Jeremy Irons as Alfred, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White, and Holly Hunter as a US Senator. Tao Okamoto will play Mercy Graves, Luthor's assistant; Ray Fisher will be Cyborg; while it is yet uncertain what roles Scoot McNairy and Callan Mulvey will play.

The film is scheduled to be released in the US on March 25, 2016, and the UK release date is set on April 29. Plans for a follow-up movie, Justice League, is also in the works, with director Zack Snyder still at the helm.
