Publisher 2K has finally released a full trailer for one of its upcoming games, "Mafia III." The company also announced that the game will be available on Oct. 7, and there will be three editions that will be made available: standard, deluxe and collector's.

The "Mafia III" trailer, titled "One Way Road Story," was released on April 19 to the delight of fans. Its caption reads: "The city of New Bordeaux had survived the War of 1812, the Civil War and god knows how many hurricanes. But when Lincoln Clay went after the Italian Mafia in 1968, he inflicted more damage than all those wars and hurricanes combined."

The video game, which belongs to the action-adventure genre, is in a third-person perspective and has only a single-player mode. Players will get to play Lincoln Clay, a Vietnam War veteran who, after serving the army, decides to go back to his Black Mob family in New Bordeaux, a fictionalized version of New Orleans.

Unfortunately, the Italian Mob decides to totally erase the The Black Mob from existence, and almost succeeds. Clay is able to survive the carnage brought by the opposing group. After recuperating, he starts his own criminal organization so he can avenge his own family. Players will have three allies: Cassandra, Burke, and Vito Scaletta. This is where the fun part starts.

The game will be available in three versions. The standard edition is priced at US$60 while the deluxe edition is available for US$80 and includes a season pass. For those wanting to indulge more in the game, a collector's edition is also available for US$150, and this will include a season pass and access to post-release DLC. Additionally, the package will also contain an original game score vinyl, a collectible art book, collectible art prints, and a few more items.

"Mafia III" is available now for pre-order, in which takers will be treated to three exclusive lieutenant-themed in-game vehicles and weapons. It will be available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC, and will have its worldwide release on Oct. 7.
