"Dance Moms" sensation Maddie Ziegler just transitioned to teenhood as she celebrated her dazzling birthday party last Sept. 30.

The young star thought she'd be spending a lonely birthday party since most of her friends apologized about missing the occasion.

However, it turns out to be just a prank set up by the Ziegler family. Initially, the birthday girl thought her friends were just busy with their lives that they couldn't find time to celebrate with her, but when she stepped inside a hibachi restaurant in Los Angeles that the Zieglers frequently visit, she was really surprised to see her friends, TMZ reported.

Co-stars and friends Kendall Vertes and Nia Fraizer were there at the party, together with Ziegler's little sister, 11-year-old Mackenzie.

Two dozen people took part in the surprise and dance coach Abby Lee Miller was present during the occasion as well.

Ziegler posted on Instagram a photo of herself with her friends in it and stated how happy she was for the surprise birthday bash.

The young star is not just blessed to have loving friends and family, but also lucky enough to have received lavish gifts on her 13th birthday.

It was also reported by TMZ that Ziegler got diamond-studded earrings and an Apple Watch.

Ziegler was famous for her appearance in three Sia music videos, and now, she is ready to move on to bigger screens.

Ziegler's blessings didn't stop on her birthday as it was recently reported by Variety that the talented youngster joined the cast of "The Book of Henry," a film by box office hit "Jurassic World" director, Colin Trevorrow.

Ziegler joins Naomi Watts, Dean Norris, Jacob Tremblay, and Lee Pace, among others, in the movie.

The drama feature will be about a single mom, played by Watts, who's raising two boys — one of whom is exceptionally brilliant.

According to Coming Soon, the movie has already started filming in New York.
