A major scene has been filmed in the Bronx for the premiere episode of "Madam Secretary" season 3.

TVLine revealed that the CBS political drama recently filmed on location in the New York borough, and it is not just an ordinary scene. According to the report, the shoot appeared to feature a massive, thrilling event that will unfold at the school where Bess (Tea Leoni) and Henry McCord's (Tim Daly) son Jason (Evan Roe) goes.

While there are no details provided about the story arc of the scene filmed at the Bronx, the report mentioned that both series director Eric Stoltz and executive producer Morgan Freeman were present in the location at that time. This could mean that something important might have happened inside the school of the McCord's 13-year-old son.

Meanwhile, Bess will be in the middle of a crossroad when "Madam Secretary" returns for season 3.

At the end of the previous season, the U.S. Secretary of State speculated that President Conrad Dalton (Keith Carradine) was planning to fire her from her post. But it turned out that the U.S. Head of State has other plans for her.

"I'm not firing you. I'm trying to ask you to be my vice president," Dalton asked Bess during the finale of season 2. But Bess had a lot to consider before she could respond to the offer.

But with all the chaos that is happening around Bess, particularly her problems with her relationship with Henry and her children at home, taking the president's offer may not be the best option for her at the moment.

Also, the speculations about the possible cancellation of "Madam Secretary" season 3 have been addressed after CBS announced that the critically acclaimed series will premiere on the network on Sunday, Oct. 2.
