'Love & Hip Hop' news: Yandy Smith and Mendeecees Harris tie the knot

It's official: Yandy Smith and Mendeecees Harris are married. The "Love & Hip Hop" stars tied the knot in a live VH1 wedding on Monday, May 25, after eight years of dating.

In the special episode, Smith couldn't decide between two wedding dresses by Pnina Tornai, so in the end, she got both of them.

"I felt like the god of wedding dresses had opened their doors and welcomed me into the pearly gates of heaven," she exclaimed.

Before the wedding, viewers helped her pick the crystal-encrusted "bling princess" gown over the "royal queen" gown to wear for her walk down the aisle.

"Love & Hip Hop" franchise stars Stevie J., Nina Parker, and Big Tigger were on hand for hosting duties, and the couple's star-studded guest list includes "Mob Wives" Renee Graziano and Karen Gravano, as well as "The Real Housewives of Atlanta's" Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker. VH1 stars Rich Dollaz, Peter Gunz, Joseline Hernandez, Lil' Scrappy, Ray J, and Precious Love were also at the ceremony.

The couple spared no expense for their wedding, as it was revealed that they picked out a 5-carat ring worth $12,000 for Harris' ring, while Smith's 6.5-carat wedding ring cost $30,000. Still, it's nothing compared to the flower arrangements, as Smith spent $90,000 for her floral design. When her husband-to-be questioned the hefty amount she was willing to spend on the flowers, Smith asked him to let her be and "just let me go extravagant for my only wedding."

Later, Smith also surprised her man before seeing him at the altar by giving him a rose gold watch estimated at $45,000.

The couple opted to write their own vows, which they exchanged in front of family, friends, and TV viewers. Harris told his bride, "I promise to love and protect you through all the days of my life forever," while an emotional Smith said, "I'm a better me because you love me. I will never, ever leave you."
