One Direction star Louis Tomlinson and Briana Jungwirth might not have planned on getting pregnant last year, but now that their baby Freddie Reign has arrived, the Jungwirth family considers the young boy a wonderful blessing.

"Briana always said she never wanted children but as soon as she fell pregnant she saw it as her own miracle," a Jungwirth family friend tells The Sun. "They all did, it was God's miracle gift to them and that's what they refer to Freddie as. Briana was raised as a Christian and it was all a blessing from above."

She may have had some reservations about being pregnant, but Briana came to the conclusion that going ahead with the birth was the right thing to do.

"She sat down and weighed up all her options and prayed it would all work out," the source shares. "She was very positive about everything and she would tell us we all have to live in hope, because there's no living at all if we live in fear."

As for Tomlinson, he reportedly spent his first Father's Day with his son in LA this June. There was an earlier rumour that Tomlinson and Jungwirth's baby was not real, with some people even claiming he was just a doll because the first few photos of Freddie Reign appeared to be "faked."

So when Tomlinson took his son out in Calabasas several months ago, a paparazzi apparently told him, "Hey Louis, it's good to see that your baby is real, man." In the video obtained by the Mail Online, Tomlinson reportedly responded: "Have a bit of respect for a baby, pal."

As for Jungwirth, she wrote an angry post on her Instagram account (@brianaashleyjungwirth). "This past year has been the best and worst of my life. I was blessed with the most amazing gift - a beautiful baby boy that I grew inside of me for 9 months," she writes. "On the other hand, I was scrutinized and harassed by thousands - which even included major media outlets whom all seemed to believe he wasn't real. I am beyond disgusted by it all."
