It looks like life is taking Louis Tomlinson to a new direction as he will soon become a father.

Since the news broke out, he became one of the hot topics in the entertainment industry. A lot of fans were shocked and there were also others who refused to accept the reality.

Others expressed their thoughts and feelings about the news on Twitter with hashtag #OhNoLouis.

The 23-year-old performer will soon become father to a baby with Briana Jungwirth, a Los-Angeles based stylist, according to People.

According to the outlet, a mutual friend of the couple said that the One Direction heartthrob felt happy and excited about the news and he thinks Briana will be an excellent mom.

The source added that it came as surprise for the pop star but he and Briana "are very, very close friends," and the baby news have brought them much closer to each other.

According to a People report, Tomlinson has been looking for properties in Los Angeles, California to be near Jungwirth; and that he has been flying for miles just to be present in every ultrasound session.

The future dad Tomlinson also confided in his boss, Simon Cowell, after learning about Jungwirth's pregnancy, Mirror reported.

Cowell himself was surprised but he still offered a fatherly advice to Tomlinson.

A source for Mirror said that the X-Factor judge advised Tomlinson that being a father will bring about big changes, but he knows that it will be "an amazing experience."

The baby news, which was kept secret at first, broke out on Tuesday. Just a day after that, Tomlinson appeared in public for the first time since the baby reveal at One Direction's Seattle gig.

He had also broken the silence on Twitter by thanking fans for their support, although he didn't address the baby news directly.

Last 2012 for April Fool's, Tomlinson had tweeted that he was to become a dad. Fast forward to three years, the tweet came true.
