Season 4 of Netflix's "Longmire" just wrapped up and the finale episode ended with a major cliffhanger. Now, fans are wondering if the show will get a renewal for season 5.

While Netflix hasn't officially renewed or canceled the show, fans are very positive that the show will have a fifth season.

Speculations also suggest that Netflix will pick up the show for another season before immediately canceling it after season 4, Inquisitr reported.

It was also hinted by a cast member that season 5 is possibly happening. Ally Walker (Profiler) joined "Longmire" cast in season four and portrayed the character of psychiatrist Dr. Sue Monahan.

In an interview with Parade, Walker was positive that the show will return. In fact, she said it herself as she teased that her character will also make a comeback. "So I'm pretty sure I'm going back, and we'll see what happens," Walker said in her interview.

Meanwhile, it seems that Walker is not the only one who's positive about a "Longmire" renewal.

Fans are also doing their best just to make sure Netflix picks up the show for another season. It was reported in Inquisitr that "Longmire" avid viewers will be holding a get-together event just to let the online streaming service see how seriously they want to see more of the series.

Longmire Posse, Official Fan Site, a Facebook page, is hosting the event that will happen online on Oct. 7. Fans are supposed to be one during that day in posting about the show on Twitter and Facebook with hashtags #Longmire and tagging Netflix.

On the mentioned date, fans of the series should go online at 9 p.m. EST, 8 p.m. CST, 7 p.m. MST, or 6 p.m. PST to join an online force demanding for the show to be renewed.

"Longmire" was previously owned by A&E until it was canceled and Netflix stepped up to the rescue.
