"Longmire" fans can now say goodbye to their worries as season 5 has been picked up by Netflix with ten new episodes.

Season 5 may have been confirmed, but there's no exact release date for its premiere yet, although rumors suggest that "Longmire" will return in September 2016.

It remains to be seen what season 5 will bring to the table but fan theories suggest that the upcoming season will pick up from where it left off — the interrupted romantic moment between Walt (Robert Taylor) and Dr. Sue Monahan (Ally Walker).

According to the Christian Post, season 5 will reveal who broke into Walt's home. The news outlet also provided some of the characters that are considered to be the culprit.

Walker Browning (Callum Keith Rennie) is believed to be most likely the intruder as he was no longer in his hospital bed.

One Reddit user also agreed at first that Walker is the suspect since he escaped the hospital and is someone who's likely to get revenge.

But the Redditor continued to write that it couldn't have been Walker based on the color of his shoes. It was mentioned that he was wearing darker shoes compared to the one showed in the final episode.

Meanwhile, there was also a rumor that "Longmire" will have a crossover with "Criminal Minds," considering both shows are crime drama series, Day Herald reported. Source of the rumor was not identified, but basically it mentioned how the idea is likely since both series focus on profiling behaviors to catch criminals.

It may sound interesting having two well-loved shows together, but it remains as is — a rumor, and there's no official confirmation on it.

"Longmire" fans just have to wait for further announcements as to when the show will return to Netflix. If the previous season's release date is to be followed, then September will be a long wait for fans.
