'LG V30' release date, news: Suggested improvements that should be done on the future Android handset

The world of smartphones is an ever-dynamic and competitive one. Success at one point in time does not necessarily mean long-term stability and exceptional performance in the market, thus mobile companies innovate every single time. LG is no stranger to this concept, which is why despite the recent release of the LG V20, the new LG V30 is already in the works.

Tech Radar took a spin on the LG V20 to check if it was a masterpiece, or if the creators can do better. There were great features on it, such as the removable battery and its ability to capture wide-angle images. It does, however, have some aspects that would need work on, and it would be nice to see them on the new LG V30 once it releases next year.

One of the glaring performance gaps that could be redeemed by the future Android phone is the camera performance. Although LG specified some of the improvements done on the V20, it isn't recognizable as it tends to get blurry when shooting moving photos or videos. This can be a nice addition to the V30.

Another is the processor. The current V20 uses Snapdragon 820, but it pales to Google Pixel's Snapdragon 821. V30 may try to outshine the competition by trying to use a more powerful processor.

Option for Andromeda OS also comes to mind, which merges Android capabilities and the desktop functionalities of Chrome, creating a superpowered operating system that may shift the tides of technological battles, Recode has learned.

The last one would be the secondary display's functionality. Earlier this week, infamous leaker Evan Blass tweeted, "Adieu, ticker," which many online publications misunderstood as removing the secondary display altogether. He later on clarified that he may have been misinterpreted from his previous tweet. International Business Times thinks that instead of taking off the secondary display, it may be more of a functionality upgrade that will set it apart from the already existing notifications setting of the LG phone.

Much is yet to be seen, although the LG V30 is thought of to be released sometime in fall 2017.
