As soon as the hit series "Legends of Tomorrow" begins production, the showrunners promise to give fans more excitement by bringing in some of the characters from the Justice Society of America.

Avid comic fans remember that the JSA was created way back in the 1940s as a superhero team, with the Legion of Doom created around the same time as an evil counterpart of the JSA. Today, the Legion of Doom can be seen as a team of super villains in "The Flash" as well as "Arrow" universes.

According to the Movie News Guide, after the first season of "Legends of Tomorrow" ended the Vandal Savage story, fans knew that the team had lost a few of its members. As such, one interesting character who will join the team is Stargirl, who will fill the hole left by the lost members. The showrunners of this series explain that they went to a lot of brainstorming and evaluation for this intriguing character's casting.

Screen Rant reports that after a long grueling process, the casting for Stargirl is done. This JSA character will be joining the team as a member, and the role of this character, as well as her normal counterpart Courtney Whitmore, will be played by Sarah Grey. This actress is also famous for playing the role of Frankie in "iZombie." As such, with Stargirl being a junior JSA star-spangled member who also made an appearance in a past episode of "Smallville," fans are curious how this will mesh with the current "Legends of Tomorrow" team.

However, Stargirl is not the only JSA character who will join the second season of "Legends of Tomorrow," since Dr. Mid-Nite and Obsidian will be joining as well, with speculations saying that the former is still unfilled while the latter will most likely be casted to Todd Rice.
