Entertainment Weekly reports that Daveed Diggs and Anthony Ramos of the Broadway musical will play an important role in the upcoming episode, titled "Forty-One Witnesses," which is scheduled to air on Feb. 3.

Diggs is a returning character and will play defense counsel Louis Henderson, while his "Hamilton" co-star will play a man who was accused of rape. Diggs already announced his participation in the series earlier this month.

On Jan. 5, he wrote, "Guess who's back with team SVU? And brought more#hamsfriends Thanks for another great day at the office! @rauleesparza @anthony_ramos_nyc #SonsOfLibertyOnSVU #HamiltonOnSVU" with a photo of him with Ramos and "Law & Order: SVU" regular Raúl Esparza.

Meanwhile, the upcoming episode will have the Special Victims Unit (SVU) team deal with a rape case. Based on the episode promo trailer, a girl was raped outside of her apartment out in the open.

The synopsis from CarterMatt explained that this woman was on her way home and got followed by the rapist. Several witnesses could have seen the commotion but none of them is willing to talk about the incident. More appallingly, none of the witnesses managed to call for help when the rape happened.

The fact that no one wants to get involved will be another challenge that the SVU team will be facing in pursuing the assailant and investigating deeper into the crime.

FutonCritic also revealed other spoilers of upcoming episodes in February. For the episode titled "Nationwide Manhunt," which will air on Feb. 10, guest stars Sophia Bush and Jon Seda will play Chicago P.D. detectives who will join Olivia Benson's (Mariska Hargitay's) team in hunting down two convicted murderers who have escaped. Dallas Roberts and Jefferson Mays will also return as guest stars.

Another episode, titled "Collateral Damages" set to air on Feb. 17, will feature the case of an online pedophile ring that Olivia and her team will have to take down with an undercover operation.

Things are bound to get exciting when "Law & Order: SVU" returns starting Wednesday, Feb. 3, at 9 p.m. EST on NBC.
