Lamar Odom health update: Former NBA cager can barely walk

From the beginning, it was already mentioned that Lamar Odom would have a hard climb as far as getting his life back to normal. And as things stand now, it seems that the former National Basketball Association (NBA) cager has the odds stacked up against him.

Odom has made a miraculous recovery after that life-threatening incident that almost claimed his life at the Love Ranch in Las Vegas, but doctors did caution his peers and the ones following the situation that Odom would have difficulty getting his life back on track.

Such is seen as the result of the cocaine and other drugs overdose that Odom took in, complicating his situation which included hitting his vital organs that included his liver.

Although he is expected to be discharged soon, he will need to be housed somewhere which holds a hospital-like of an environment. But one thing that is for sure, it will not be at Khloé Kardashian's place with the reality TV star making it clear (via Radar Online) that she is against the idea.

The latest is that Odom is suffering from memory loss and can barely stand up. Such was revealed through ET Online, although hope still floats on the horizon.

As for his estranged wife, even though Kardashian does not want Odom back in her home and see her house transformed into a hospital, she wants her fallen husband nearby so she could check on him from time to time.

In previous reports, she did also say that the divorce will still push through, despite pulling out the divorce papers after Odom's plight.

She continues to date James Harden and just recently, she has been singled out as the reason why the "bearded one" is having a poor season. Kardashian lashed back at critics via TMZ recently.

Regardless, the real focus right now is Odom and his road to recovery. It may not be a comforting reality but the road to recovery is not as smooth as how he survived his near-death experience.
