Lady Gaga and Taylor Kinney wedding news 2015: Kinney offers details of romantic proposal

Lady Gaga and Taylor Kinney got engaged on Valentine's Day after three years of dating, and fans of the couple were thrilled when the singer posted a picture of her heart-shaped engagement ring designed by Lorraine Schwartz on social media.

The "Applause" singer has previously talked about how the 'Chicago Fire' actor has proposed to her, as she revealed that Kinney first used a ring pop to propose before giving her the stunning sparkler. Now, the actor is spilling details of how he proposed to the star.

"It was snowing—it was beautiful," said the 33-year old actor to Chicago Tribune magazine of his Valentine's Day proposal. Kinney said that he had no hesitation about popping the question.

"I just knew," he said. "It wasn't a light bulb going off, it was in Manhattan."

As for wedding plans, Kinney said that he'll be recruiting help when it comes to choosing his suit for the special day.

"I'll have someone help me out with a tailored suit that fits well and looks nice…but I'm not out there doing that on my own," he told the magazine.

Meanwhile, Lady Gaga has yet to reveal more details when it comes to their nuptials, but according to E! News, the singer was asked by paparazzi when she arrived at the LAX airport on Tuesday whether she plans on taking Kinney's last name, and the "You and I" singer reportedly said "yes" with a nod and a smile.

Neither Lady Gaga nor Kinney has revealed a wedding date.

"I really can't imagine being with anyone other than who I'm with right now," the singer told Howard Stern back in December. "He is the right guy. I have that feeling. I just know it."
