It has been over three decades since we last heard of King's Quest, one of the many popular adventure role playing games that Sierra Entertainment had to offer. Now however, the game is all set to return thanks mainly to the collaboration with Activision which should be timely and interesting for people who love to embark on adventure-filled games.

The new King's Quest is a re-imagined version with King Graham recounting his tales of old. He narrates them to his granddaughter Gwendolyn. A trailer has been released for the game which is expected to be out later this year.

If you were able to watch the trailer above, you may be wondering, was that Christopher Lloyd? Yes it is!

The actor who brought to life Dr. Emmett Brown from the famed Back to the Future franchise will be the voice of King Graham, something fitting for a person expected to do a lot of storytelling in the soon-to-be-launched game.

For most people who have seen Lloyd in his countless starring roles in multiple films, his voice is most certainly suited as a storyteller of sorts for the rebooted King's Quest game. With plenty of flashbacks recounting the game of old, Lloyd's voice talent is a superb choice to do all that.

Other voice actors include Josh Keaton who will portray a younger King Graham and Maggie Elizabeth Jones (as Gwendolyn).

Other notable names who will share their voice on the said game include Zelda Williams (the daughter of Robin Williams), Wallace Shawn, Tom Kenny, Michael Benyaer, Loretta Devine, Gideon Emery, Jean Glipin, Andy Pessoa, Kevin Michael Richardson, Kath Soucie, Michael-Leon Wooley, Fred Tatasciore and Michael Gough. Those names account for a stellar voice cast which should make the game truly something interesting to check out.

The new King's Quest will be released in a series of episodes. The initial one will see King Graham in search of the Three Treasures of Davernity where each flashback will be bookended by a storyline set in the present.

For now, there is no official word on the actual release date of King's Quest although the downloadable episodes are expected to commence sometime in the latter part of 2015.
