Khloe Kardashian wants to be by ex-husband Lamar Odom's side

Khloe Kardashian doesn't want to leave Lamar Odom's side now that he's shown some recovery from his medical situation.

However, according to Radar Online, Kardashian is still constantly communicating with beau James Harden.

An insider for the news outlet said that the two are still exchanging texts and calls ever since the 31-year-old reality star landed last Tuesday in Las Vegas where Odom is being treated.

The 35-year-old former National Basketball Association (NBA) player awoke from his coma last Friday, only four days after he was discovered unconscious in a brothel in Nevada.

With news about Odom's recovery and Kardashian wanting to be there for him, what will happen to the latter's relationship with Harden?

Kardashian and Harden are still in the early stages of dating, but the latter seems to be confident in their relationship that he allegedly does not mind Kardashian staying by Odom's side.

In fact, the Houston Rockets guard supports Kardashian of her decision and seems to understand why she had to fly to Las Vegas in a rush, Hollywood Life reported.

According to the media outlet, a source said that Harden understood that Odom doesn't have any family besides the Kardashians and he doesn't want to add stress to his girlfriend by interfering.

"Not to be rude, he's the furthest thing from her mind. Khloe's put the relationship on the back burner for the moment," the unidentified source reportedly said to Hollywood Life.

It appears that Kardashian and Odom are still legally married despite having signed divorce papers back in July. That gives Kardashian the authority to make medical decisions for her ex.

Kardashian and Odom separated in 2013. The former then began to date Harden in June.

Now that Odom is on his way to recovery, it is expected that he'll soon be mobile once again and according to Us Weekly's Monday report, he could be moved to a Los Angeles rehab facility this week.

A source of the outlet revealed that Kardashian and mother Kris Jenner made that decision so Odom would be close by as he gets better.
