The Kardashian/ Jenner girls shot to fame in their reality series "Keeping Up With the Kardashians," and some of them have become a force to be reckoned with as they branched out successfully into other fields. For instance, Kim Kardashian has become a brand as she now has a very successful app and clothing line, and even 19-year old Kendall Jenner has emerged to become one of fashion's most in demand models. Now, Kylie Jenner is about to set herself apart from her siblings as she is said to be pursuing a career in the music industry.

Last year, Radar Online reported that the 17-year old was working on a singing career and her mom, Kris, recently confirmed the news. A source told the website that Kylie is close to releasing a single with the help of her brother-in-law, Kanye West.

"Kanye has been helping her with her music," the insider revealed. "He has been mentoring her and the two have been working on her first single together."

The source added that Kanye wants to see his sister-in-law succeed in the industry and with him to guide her, it's possible that she can make a name for herself. The source went on to say that Kylie has been working hard and "has gotten really good." Moreover, in an upcoming episode of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians," Kris will be shown confirming that Kylie has been taking voice lessons for more than a year and sounds "really amazing."

Recently, the reality star posted a video on Snapchat of herself singing Chris Brown's "How Many Times." Based on Radar Online's report, skeptics assumed that Kylie was lip-syncing to her friend Pia Mia's vocals, but an insider close to the Kardashian family confirmed that it was the 17-year old who was singing in the clip. In the video, Kylie's singing voice has an R&B vibe, and it's possible that the reality star will be focusing on that genre for her first single.
