Justin Bieber may be linked to other girls right now, including Kendall Jenner and Hailey Baldwin, but the "Girlfriend" singer is said to have his heart set on his ex, Selena Gomez.

A source told Hollywoodlife that when the topic of marriage comes up, the Bieber always brings up the "I Want You to Know" singer.

"Justin always talks about Selena when the topic of marriage comes up. He may hang out with a bunch of different girls like Kendall, Hailey, and his Miami babes, but he has said not once, but often that Selena is the only girl he's ever been with who is marriage material. He wasn't [disrespecting] the other girls, but he explained that they have a 'soulmate' relationship," said the insider.

Bieber and Gomez had an on-off relationship before finally splitting up in December. Since then, Bieber has been linked to Jenner, Baldwin, and model Ashley Moore, while Gomez is said to have dated DJ Zedd for three months before splitting up in April.

The two haven't been seen together in a long time, but earlier this month, they almost ran into each other at the 2015 Met Gala in New York City. It was reported that the singer/actress did her best to avoid her ex as she spent time with some of her friends at the event. But the "Baby" singer couldn't resist complimenting Gomez. In a video posted by TMZ one day after the event, Bieber is seen getting into a car and driving away from a horde of fans—but not before yelling, "Hey, Selena looked gorgeous at the Met Ball!"

After the event, Us Weekly reports that Gomez headed to Rihanna's afterparty at Up & Down, where Bieber was already hanging out with Tyga. A source of the magazine says that Bieber "tried very hard" to speak with Gomez at the party, but their encounter was short.
