It's a healthy baby boy for the country singer Josh Turner and his wife Jennifer.

The happy couple welcomed their fourth son, Samuel Hawke Turner, last Thursday.

They announced back in April that they were expecting another baby and their new arrival weighed in at 8lbs, 6oz upon his birth.

Little Samuel joins brothers Marion, 3, Colby, 5, and Hampton, soon-to-be 8.

In a statement to People.com, Turner shared his delight: "God has truly blessed Jennifer and me with this healthy little boy.

"We are so thankful and excited to see our family grow yet again."

But just because he's got a growing family doesn't mean Turner's setting his music to one side.

His new single "Lay Low" was just released to country radio and will be one of the tracks on his next project to be released by MCA Nashville in 2015.

But with the arrival of Samuel and his recent book release, "Man Stuff", becoming a bestseller, it's fair to say 2014 has been a good year for Turner.
