Jill Duggar of 19 Kids and Counting is not one who is content to just sit by and do nothing, even if she is already several days past her pregnancy due date.
The young reality star appears to be working while she awaits the arrival of her firstborn son, nicknamed Baby Dilly. She shared a selfie on her Instagram account (@jillmdillard) which shows her doing some work on her notebook and laptop.
"Getting some things done while anticipating the arrival of our little man any day!" she captioned it.
When she's not working, Jill is busy reading up on scripture. Her latest Bible study centred on the Bible verse Psalm 31:24 which says: "Be strong, and let your heart take courage, all you who wait for the Lord!"
Jill shared a photo of the Bible passage, together with lyrics to the song "While I'm Waiting" by John Waller. "The lyrics to this song go right along with that verse and will be a good reminder when labor comes!" she said.
She and her husband Derick Dillard are also busy doing charity work for the Compassion Center in Springdale, Arkansas, a ministry of Cross Church that serves as a thrift store as well as a life skills and job centre. Jill and Derick had their picture taken with two other volunteers from the centre as they worked on different racks of clothing.
TLC Network, which runs 19 Kids and Counting has actually scheduled Baby Dilly's due date as April 5, and the network has announced that it will air a special two-hour episode on Tuesday featuring Jill's home delivery, according to the Duggar Family Blog.
Jill has been experiencing some Braxton Hicks contractions, which are normal during the later stages of pregnancy, but she did say that she is "feeling great." A team of midwives will support Jill's home birth while her elder sister Jana has agreed to be her doula (birthing coach).
