"Teen Wolf" may have only one season left before it says goodbye to the small screens, but the fans of Tyler Posey, who plays Scott McCall in the MTV drama, won't be missing him that much as he is set to star in another show, "Jane the Virgin."

It was reported earlier this month that the "Teen Wolf" star will be joining the cast of The CW's hit series as someone from Jane's (Gina Rodriguez) past. After weeks of keeping the details of his role under wraps, there is finally a name for the character. Entertainment Weekly has reported that he will be taking the role of a guy named Adam, and is set to make his first appearance in the season finale.

Rodriguez, the lead star of the show, posted a photo with her co-stars, Posey included, on the set when they were filming the season finale.

She also recently posted a photo of her and Posey on Twitter, with the caption: "When Jane met Adam. #JaneTheVirgin."

The season 3 finale is not where Posey's journey ends, though, as he will be seen again in a recurring role on the show's fourth season, which is expected to air later this year. As for the other details of his role, especially how his character is relevant to Jane's life, these have yet to be revealed.

In other news, when "Jane the Virgin" season 3 returns with episode 16 next week, viewers will see Jane's reluctance in opening up about her past to help sell her newly published book. Also, Rogelio (Jaime Camil) will not be comfortable with the fact that there is some sort of flirtation going on between his daughter, Jane, and his intimidating younger co-star Fabian (Francisco San Martin), whom he thinks could be sabotaging him. It can be seen in the teaser video that Rogelio tries to forbid Jane from getting closer to the younger actor. Could this have something to do with his suspicions about Fabian?

Catch "Jane the Virgin" season 3 episode 16 on Monday, April 24, at 9 p.m. EDT on The CW.
