iPad Pro 2015 release date in October? Specs rumors roundup

Is this what the iPad Pro will look like when it comes out later this year? YouTube

Rumors about the iPad Pro have continued to spread and it appears that they are not consistent.

As to when the new Apple device will arrive, early reports claimed that it would be unveiled on Sept. 9 along with other Apple devices. Based on previous speculations, iPad Pro would be introduced alongside Apple TV and a new iPhone at the upcoming Apple event.

But more recent reports state that iPad Pro will have an October launch, which could mean that the device will follow sometime after the unveiling.

Meanwhile, in a report from Techradar, it was stated that an analyst from JPMorgan revealed to clients that iPad Pro parts will be distributed to Foxconn, Apple's partner, at the start of September.

What this means is that iPad Pro will likely be revealed in October. The analyst reportedly gave away what iPad Pro has to offer.

Apple's iPad Pro is said to have a new touchscreen system and that the tech giant is working with new suppliers to supply the components that will build the much awaited tablet.

It was also revealed that the touchscreen will be based on a glass-film-film (GFF) technology that can improve the tablet's screen efficiency.

Both iPad Air 2 and iPad Mini 3 currently have the glass-film-screen technology, and if rumors about the GFF prove to be true, such would be a huge improvement for the upcoming tablet.

The speculation about the new touchscreen technology only seem appropriate for the rumored Bluetooth stylus that could come with the device.

If iPad Pro were to have a stylus, it would have more accurate input from the screen display and put the device in line with other devices that have stylus, most specifically those that come from Samsung.

Meanwhile, for other specs of the iPad Pro, the device will have a 12.9-inch screen with a resolution of 2732 x 2048 pixels and will run on iOS 9.1, as mentioned in BGR.

It was also reported that iPad Pro will have a thickness of seven millimeters and will adopt several features of the iPad Air 2, which include Touch ID and 2 GB RAM.
