As the iOS 10 seeds to Apple devices, Chinese hacker team Pangu remains silent with regards to the release date of the jailbreak software for the operating system.
Italian developer Luca Todesco has already proven that jailbreaking the iOS 10 is possible, so users can count on Pangu to deliver the iOS 10 jailbreak they promised.
The China-based jailbreak development group is tight-lipped about the rollout of the software, which they have been hard at work on for a few months now.
They even showed their progress back in July at the Mobile Security Conference (MOSEC), where they made the announcement of their iOS 10 jailbreak as well.
Pangu showed confidence with what they have come up at that time. On the iOS 10 jailbreak demonstration they did at MOSEC, the Cydia launched and ran undetected as it was treated by Siri and the OS as any another application.
Users grow parched for the iOS 10 jailbreak as Todesco showed off his second attempt on jailbreaking the iOS 10, this time on his iPad Pro.
The developer released a new video showing MobileSubstrate, a.k.a. Cydia Substrate, working seamlessly on the giant tablet. Last week, he showed the final beta form of the iOS 10 jailbroken.
As for the release date of Pangu's iOS 10 jailbreak, there's no information on that aspect yet. It was rumored for a Sept. 17 launch, which obviously did not come to pass.
Apart from the iOS 10 jailbreak, a jailbreak tool specific to the iPhone 7 is also expected to arrive. There's no word if one can be used on the other and vice versa.
As fans wait for the new jailbreak software, they are advised not to upgrade to the iOS 10. It is recommended that users download "NO PLS RECOVERY" from Cydia so that iTunes will not initiate software update when in jailbreak mode.
Users should also watch out for fake ones that plague the web.
