A lot of fans are certainly intrigued as Ed Boon — the director for the upcoming sequel to the "Injustice: Gods Among Us" game — has released the results of the two polls he made on Twitter. The poll asked fans about the characters they want to be included in the fighting game "Injustice 2," and the results say that Spawn and Sub-Zero are two of the most anticipated characters as of now.

According to Game Rant, ever since the trailer for the "Injustice 2" game was released, fans of the upcoming crossover fighting game were certainly thirsty for more information about the title, especially when it comes to the characters that will be included in the game's roster. As fans can remember, Ed Boon made a series of Twitter polls to determine what the fans wanted to see in the video game sequel.

One of the most recent polls he made were for the game's guest characters let the fans choose a character from the "Mortal Kombat" series while another would be from another comic book franchise entirely. Looking at the results, it seems that fans know their priorities as Sub-Zero and Spawn were the overwhelming fan choices. It says a lot about their popularity, as the choice was made alongside other significant characters like Raiden and Hellboy.

As the "Injustice 2" guest character polls ended, Ed Boon concluded that there were around 20,000 fans who wanted to see Sub-Zero included in the game while an astounding 30,000 voted for Spawn's inclusion in the game. According to Game N Guide, this means that the former was able to grab a little over 50 percent of the total votes.

As for the latter, fans can remember that it is not the first time that Spawn will make an appearance in video games The character has already shown up in Namco's "Soul Calibur 3" game beforehand. However, fans are still hopeful that the Spawn in "Injustice 2" will be much better than the one mentioned above.
