Fans of the DC universe, as well as any fighting game, are now hyped up by the release of "Injustice 2's" trailer. Followers of the acclaimed "Injustice: Gods Among Us" caught glimpses of their all-time favorite heroes and villains, while others have put up a list of who they wish would be made available to the highly anticipated sequel.

Some of the characters making a comeback for the sequel are Superman, Batman, The Flash, Aquaman, Supergirl, Red Lantern Atroticus, and Gorilla Grodd. Fan favorites such as the Joker, Lex Luthor, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Green Arrow, Nightwing, Hawkgirl, Cyborg, and Harley Quinn will also be gracing the game.

Other DC characters are also hinted, other DC characters are also hinted to make an appearance in the much-awaited game. Characters such as Ra's al Ghul, Captain Cold, The Atom, Black Canary, John Constantine, Red Hood, Swamp Thing, Starfire and Beast Boy may be joining in the skirmish.

"Injustice 2" has whipped up a huge storm that some fans are making themselves heard as to who they'd like to add to the growing roster of heroes and villains. The Nerdist enumerated some of the characters they wish would join the gang, such as Grail, Matter-Eater Lad, Doctor Manhattan, Lady Shiva, Vixen, Black Alice, and Booster Gold, among others

Those suggestions aren't necessarily farfetched, considering the fact that the developers are very much in tune with the fans' wishes. In an interview with Game Informer, game director Ed Boon expressed his love for introducing guest characters, hinting that there is a huge possibility they will be introducing crossover characters in the upcoming Injustice sequel.

"Scorpion in Injustice was the most downloaded of all the characters. There was a coolness and a novelty factor to seeing the mixing of the things. Alien and Predator in Mortal Kombat X were the most downloaded of those, so I would be surprised if we didn't do any of that," Boon told Game Informer.

Either way, it looks like fans of the game are in for a real treat once it hits the market. The texture and visuals of the game will be made more life-like and detailed, thanks to the inclusion of the "Mortal Kombat X" engine, Lazy Gamer reports. Combine that with some of DC's most-loved characters, "Injustice 2" could be starting strong.
