"Injustice 2" has sparked excitement once again when they released a teaser for their Fighter Pack 3 containing the "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT)." Right after they did, they are also releasing another hero for the Fighter Pack 2, Hellboy. The timing seems perfect especially with a reboot film coming for the hero.
As of today, players who have purchased the special editions of "Injustice 2" can get their hands on Hellboy already. Those without any of these editions can wait until Nov. 21 to buy him for $6, as reported by GameSpot. Weirdly enough, NetherRealm did not announce the release of Hellboy, causing some fans to doubt nevertheless Hellboy will be out for everyone next Tuesday.
The portrayal of the hero is nothing short but accurate. He appears the same way everyone has remembered him: his goggles, the revolver, his big right hand, and, of course, his signature red skin. As for how he fits in the game's storyline, a blurb was also released.
"As a member of the Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense, Hellboy has defended the world from fiends, witches, demons, and more than a few Lovecraftian Gods," reads his official description via Daily Star. "With his trusty revolver and his 'Right Hand of Doom,' Hellboy has made monster disposal his specialty," it continues.
Hellboy will be the last hero to be released for Fighter Pack 2. Alongside Hellboy, Black Manta from Aquaman, Sub Zero and Raiden from Mortal Kombat, Red Hood, and Starfire were also released from the same pack. Fans can now look forward to Fighter Pack 3 which was recently revealed in a trailer that starred the TMNT, Atom, and Enchantress. So far, only Atom has been given a release date which is Dec. 12.
Previously only available to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One players, "Injustice 2" has only recently been released for the PC. However, they may need to wait longer to be able to play Hellboy. All the other character from Fighter Pack 2 are available.
