Indianapolis Colts vs Philadelphia Eagles live stream details, preview: How to watch NFL pre-season football online

The Indianapolis Colts will play the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday as both teams continue preparations for the new 2015-2016 NFL season. Today's game will come from Lincoln Financial Field, and with both these teams having high hopes for the coming season, we can expect a competitive game, although fans can also expect a degree of experimentation still at this stage. The game has a scheduled start time of 1 p.m. ET and can be watched online through NFL live stream via the link below.

Last season's game between the Colts and Eagles was a special one. It was their first competitive game against one another for nearly four years, and after a fiercely fought match up, it was the Eagles who came out on top 30-27 in their September 15, 2014 encounter.

There was little between the teams, and there is likely to be little between the two sides again this coming season. Both teams were outside prospects to go all the way to the Super Bowl last season, and both will want to take further strides this season to establish themselves as legitimate contenders for the ultimate goal.

For the Colts, Andrew Luck made further big steps in his progress in establishing himself as one of the best quarterbacks in the league. He completed 380 throws from 616 attempts for 4,761 yards and an impressive 40 touchdowns.

Indianapolis will be hoping that Luck can continue his progress and have another stellar season, and they will be hoping the team can further support him to optimize his talents.

Last season, Luck connected excellently with T.Y. Hilton and Coby Fleener, with Hilton taking 82 catches for 1,345 yards and 7 touchdowns, where as Fleener received 51 throws for 774 yards and 8 touchdowns.

In comparison, Mark Sanchez, last season for the Eagles, completed 198 of 309 throws for 2,418 yards and 14 touchdowns. Jeremy Maclin was the star receiver, receiving 85 for 1,318 yards and 10 touchdowns.

With Luck in excellent form last year, the Colts managed to record an average of 305.9 yards on the pass per game, compared for the Eagles' 272.2 yards in the air. The Eagles, however, relied more heavily on the rush, where they recorded 124.5 yards per game, compared to the Colts' 100.8 yards on the ground.

Today's game between the Indianapolis Colts and the Philadelphia Eagles has a scheduled start time of 1 p.m. ET and can be watched online through live stream by clicking here.
