The hype over the sequel of "The Incredibles" continues despite Disney's radio silence regarding the plot of "The Incredibles 2."

Speculations about the next adventures of the Parr family became a hot topic online, especially when a theory from a Reddit user named Professor_Wonder came out.

According to the post, the Parrs could be battling one of their own in "The Incredibles 2," since the middle child Dash has the tendency to rebel against his own family.

The Redditor pointed out that the oldest son of Bob and Helen Parr possesses an exceptional superpower. But he constantly needs reminding to restrain his powers. But since he is still a kid, he tends to be impulsive in showing his special abilities, which could cause him and his family a lot of trouble.

In the first film, one of his teachers in school complained against him after a CCTV footage captured him putting a tack on a chair in class. According to the theory, Dash will use his superpowers against his family to get his way.

Meanwhile, other reports claim that sibling rivalry may possibly be a central theme for "The Incredibles 2." The reports pointed out that one of the Parr siblings will possibly choose to go to the darker path for feeling left out because another one will be the family's favorite.

Some reports claim that the youngest Parr son, Jack-Jack, will be the one who will get jealous of his parents' attention to his other siblings, while others believe that Dash will be the one who will get jealous of his youngest brother.

However, both Pixar and Walt Disney Pictures continue their silence about the upcoming film's plot despite the growing speculations. Fans must just wait to hear more details about the sequel, which is expected to come out on June 21, 2019.
