"Hunter x Hunter" chapter 361 has no specific release date, so far. Fans do not even know about its status, or even if its creator, Yoshihiro Togashi, has already started it or not. Followers are speculating that Togashi's health issue is the main cause of the chapter's publication delay. Now, it has been reported that the chapter's release date has been pushed back to next year.

The manga series creator has suffered from lower back pains for quite some time already, and he has been on several breaks in the past few years because of his condition. One long hiatus started in 2014, and then he returned around September of 2015. Due to his back pains, Togashi cannot work for long hours anymore, which is required for these manga artists. Another bad news is that it is getting worse.

A previous report suggests that publisher Shueisha might consider hiring other writers to continue with the "Hunter x Hunter" series. Togashi will still be a part of the project, working with the writers with the capacity of a consultant.

Rocket News 24 even reached out to the publisher in the past to find out what will become of the series. The company said: "The last time the series was put on hold, it was because of Togashi-sensei's lower back pain, and once again, his condition has gotten worse, necessitating a break again. At this time, it is not certain when we will be able to resume the series."

It was even rumored that the creator's wife, Naoki Takeuchi, who is the author of "Sailor Moon," is said to be assisting in the development of the next "Hunter x Hunter" chapter so that fans will not be left out in the cold.

Fans are really hoping that the 50-year old mangaka would be able to recover and continue creating more "Hunter x Hunter" chapters, especially now that the story is building up, and the Dark Continent Arc has already started. The fans are also willing to wait until Togashi is strong enough to carry on with one of their favorite manga.
