'Hunger Games: Mockingjay €” Part 2' spoilers: New promo shows Snow at Katniss' feet

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 Lionsgate

A new banner for "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay — Part 2" recently made the rounds, continuing the theme of rebellion and freedom. The photo looks to be a depiction of the aftermath of the battle between the districts of Panem and The Capitol.

With total destruction as its background — there's smoke, burned down buildings and ashes of everything incinerated by the war — the promo shows a fierce Katniss wearing her intimidating new red suit as she stands atop the collapsed statue of President Snow.

In the forefront, the Mockingjay's allies stand wearing stern faces and their trusty weapons, which should have put to eternal sleep every one of Snow's underlings. The photo was posted on the official "Mockingjay Part 2" Twitter account with the caption: "When Snow falls, the Mockingjay will rise."

In the previous "The Hunger Games" films, fans never really got a chance to get a good look at Snow's fortress. But with the place's annihilation as the focus of the movie, director Francis Lawrence said that this will all change.

"This is the most amount of time we've spent in the Capitol," the filmmaker told Entertainment Weekly. "So we had to focus a lot on how to accomplish that, especially when we spend most of our time out on the street."

"The Hunger Games: Mockingjay — Part 2" is the final movie in the franchise, which was inspired by Suzanne Collins' book series. In this film, Panem will take from Snow what it rightfully owns through an all-out rebellion that Katniss will lead.

The battle won't be easy, with the oppressive and sadistic ruler putting into motion all minefields he prepared to thwart his enemies' plan. In the first full-length trailer for the film, Katniss and her team try their best to deflect and avoid being ensnared by these booby traps.

"The Hunger Games: Mockingjay — Part 2" hits theaters on Nov. 20.
