Holly Bobo murder: Pastor asks for prayer for nursing student's grieving family

Prayers are being sought for the grieving family of Holly Bobo after two men were recently charged with her kidnap and murder.

The 20-year-old nursing student disappeared from her home in Parsons, Decatur County, Tennessee, on April 13, 2011.

Although her body has never been found she is presumed dead and, two local men, Jason Autry and Zach Adams, have been charged with her murder.

Witnesses told investigators they saw Bobo alive and in the presence of the suspects after the kidnapping.

Bobo's brother, Clint, said he saw her being taken into the woods by a man wearing camouflage. He had believed the man to be her boyfriend but when he saw the man holding onto his sister, he called his mum who contacted the police.

From his cell at Riverbend Maximum Security Prison, Autry has denied killing Bobo in an interview with NewsChannel5.

Asked whether he killed her, he said: "No sir. Right hand before God. The Father, Son and Holy Ghost. I didn't bother that girl in no form or no fashion and I don't know who did."

The Tennessean reports that Pastor Don Franks of Corinth Baptist Church was comforting the Bobo family.

He said it was still too soon for a memorial to remember the student.

"Just keep praying," he said. "As difficult as the last three years have been, it's especially difficult for the family now."
