The Five-0 squad will be on an expansive manhunt to catch the six inmates who escaped through a deliberate chemical spill in the next episode of "Hawaii Five-0" season 6.

The episode, titled "Ka Pono Ku'oko'a," which translates to "The Cost of Freedom," will feature the escape of six dangerous criminals. But the manhunt will closely affect Officer Kono Kalakaua (Grace Park), since one of the six fugitives is her husband Adam Noshimuri (Ian Anthony Dale).

Adam turned himself in to the police in season 6 episode 8 after killing two men whom Goro Shioma (Akira Hirayama) ordered to kidnap him. He was sentenced to a two-year imprisonment at the Halawa prison.

Based on the trailer that shared by Hollywood Hills, Kono believes that her husband will not stop at anything until he manages to kill all the other escapees. This means that the team must find them as soon as possible to prevent Adam from committing more murder.

The episode is slated to air on Friday, April 22.

The synopsis for the episode reads: "Trapped inside a dilapidated building in Oahu's Chinatown, Five-0 must protect a wounded Gabriel and plan their escape when enemy gunmen storm the building looking to kill him and anyone who gets in their way."

The last part of the season finale, titled "O ke ali'I wale no ka'u makemake," centers on the team's investigation into a drug case.
