Bandai Namco recently released new downloadable content (DLC) mobile suits for the video game "Gundam Versus." Two new mobile suits are now available — Atlas Gundam and AGE-1.

The Atlas Gundam was adapted from the manga series "Mobile Suit Gundam Thunderbolt." The mobile suit comes with a detachable giant railgun. Its close combat weapon is a beam saber and its awakening system or burst is called "Groovy Duel."

The AGE-1 mobile suit first appeared on the animated series "Mobile Suit: Gundam Age." This suit update has three different modes, namely five strikers, three new titles, and an emblem.

The game has 90 playable mobile units with distinct equipment and modes. Earlier in October, the game released two mobile suits — the Alvaaron from the anime series "Mobile Suit Gundam 00" and Buster Gundam from "Mobile Suit Gundam Seed." Fans of the game are hoping for more Mobile Suit DLCs to be added to the game, especially ones from old Gundam anime series. More suits are coming and each unit cost 602 yen or $5.

Bandai Namco America's vice president of marketing Eric Hartness said, "The Mobile Suit Gundam series has been — and continues to be — an industry-leading force in the anime space for more than 30 years."

The game was released on Sept. 29 for PlayStation 4. "Gundam Versus" received an initial rating of 8 out of 10 from Polygon and 69% from Metacritic. The game is played by a maximum of four players engaging in a two versus two combat.

The game got positive comments from gamers who got a chance to play "Gundam Versus" during its release date. Many of them mentioned "Gundam Versus" is the best game of the entire video game franchise. There are also several people asking "Bandai Namco" to release a version of the game for PC. The game was developed exclusively for PlayStation 4.
