GTA V PC release news: Pre-loading starts now for Steam and Rockstar Warehouse buyers

GTA V Rockstar Games

GTA V for the PC is a week away and for the ones who had pre-ordered the digital copy of the game, pre-loading the game is expected any time. Folks who have purchased the game via Steam or Rockstar Warehouse may want to take note of this just in case they may have missed out on the announcement last week and are not aware.

This means that instead of wasting your time downloading the game once it launches on April 14, 2015, all you have to do is launch it.

Though there is no telling how large the download would be, Steam hints at the probable size. Though they did mention that gamers would have to set aside 65GB of storage space, it remains to be seen if the game would really be that huge.

Also, it would be best to remind GTA V gamers of the minimum PC requirements. It would be wise to take note of them to make sure you PC meets them to make sure you can immediately launch and play it once it comes out next week.

Among the minimum specs include:

  • Windows 8.1 64 Bit, Windows 8 64 Bit, Windows 7 64 Bit Service Pack 1, Windows Vista 64 Bit Service Pack 2 operating system
  • Intel Core 2 Quad CPU Q6600 @ 2.40GHz (4 CPUs) / AMD Phenom 9850 Quad-Core Processor (4 CPUs) @ 2.5GHz processor

The pre-loadable download should save folks a lot of time, particularly the ones who have been eagerly awaiting the coming of GTA V for PC after numerous delays.
