'GTA 5' Undead DLC rumors: Nothing special for Halloween

The thing with rumors is that folks should remember not to have high hopes on them in the event that the ones who spread them are doing it out of thin air. And such include the gamers who were hoping for something special as far as "Grand Theft Auto 5" (GTA 5) Undead downloadable content (DLC) is concerned.

Just last week, rumors of a possible special Halloween pack came out and some may have gotten jumpy at the thought. It was believed that as many as 13 new Halloween masks would be making its way out in the open.

Now aside from that, there was that one about the brand new "Slasher" Adversary mode wherein a lone slasher on survival mode would be armed with a shotgun to take out the Hunted. With days away from Halloween, it may be best to give up on any hope of these rumors from materializing.

Aside from those two, there was another rumor involving an alleged GTA 5 Undead Nightmare DLC too. Apparently, that rumor has also been shot down and is a fake.

It would have been neat if Rockstar had offered something special to the GTA 5 gamers out there. Masks could still be headed the way of GTA 5 fans, but, apparently, not in time for Halloween.

Additionally, if you come across some news posts that mention a possible Heist or Zombie DLC, well it may be up to you to decide whether to believe it or, as they say, take it with a grain of salt. In fact, the next thing you may hear is that there could be some special spells or broomsticks coming out just to tie up the game with the season for the spooks.

Hence, those rumors are more of a trick than a treat.
