'Gotham' season 3 spoilers: 'Once Upon a Time's' Jaime Chung stars next season

"Gotham's" third season will bring in a fresh face, Jaime Chung. The actress is known for her role on "Once Upon a Time" as Mulan, in "Big Hero 6" as the voice of Go Go and in "Hangover" parts 2 and 3 as Lauren, just to name a few.

TVLine exclusively reported that Chung will be in a recurring role as Valerie Vale, the newest reporter for Gotham Gazette. The character will try everything to get the truth unwrapped on Indian Hill, the research facility located underneath Arkham Asylum and is disguised as a toxic waste dump. The research facility is owned by the Wayne Enterprises.  Valerie is the aunt of Vicki Vale, also a reporter for the same publication.

Additionally, fans of the Batman origins drama TV series can also expect the addition of Mad Hatter, Ivy Pepper, and Bruce Wayne's doppelganger.

Furthermore, "Gotham's" season 3 premiere is titled "Better to Reign in Hell," written by John Stephens, who is also the executive producer. Stephens already wrote a total of six episodes for the show. Episode 2 will be called "Burn the Witch," by Ken Woodruff, who wrote seven of the previous episode of the series. Taking the helm for the two episodes is Danny Cannon, who directed the pilot and four other episodes, Comicbook reported.

Meanwhile, cast member Robin Lord Taylor, who plays Oswald Cobblepot, a.k.a. the Penguin, shared his view of the New York skyline and Brooklyn Bridge, via his Twitter account. He said "Riding home from the first tableread of #Gotham Season 3. To say I am thrilled is a giant understatement."

The TV series cast includes Ben McKenzie as Detective James Gordon, Donal Logue as Harvey Bullock, Michael Chiklis as Detective Nathaniel Barnes, Sean Pertwee as Alfred and Erin Richards as Barbara Kean. It also includes David Mazouz as Bruce Wayne, Camren Bicondova as Selina Kyle/the future Catwoman, Cory Michael Smith as Edward Nygma/the future Riddler, James Frain as Theo Galavan, Jessica Lucas as Tabitha Galavan, Chris Chalk as Lucius Fox, and Nicholas D'Agosto as Harvey Dent.

"Gotham" season 3 will premiere on Monday, Sept. 19 at 8/7 on FOX channel.
