Google Nexus 7 release date rumors: Google tablet slated for release before year ends?

Despite the fact that Google has already begun rebranding its Nexus line to Pixel, tech enthusiasts and Google loyalists continue to wait for the tech mogul's highly anticipated tablet, the Google Nexus 7. Luckily, new reports indicate that the Nexus device has been rumored to appear before 2016 ends, bringing up fans' hopes for the Google Nexus 7.

According to a report by Mobile & Apps, the Google Nexus 7 has been rumored to see release right before the start of 2017. Though the tablet has been rumored to drop the Nexus 7 title, rumors remain that the upcoming Google gadget will be a 7-inch tablet manufactured by Huawei especially for Google. Recent rumors claim that Huawei is in the process of developing the Nexus tablet for the tech giant, and it seems like the device has been slated for a 2016 debut. Apparently, Gogle has been taking down the Nexus 9 from its official store online, and with the HTC-generated device off the shelves, many have come to believe that the Nexus 7 could definitely make its way into the market as the Nexus 9 replacement.

Rumor also has it that the upcoming Google tablet would have builds and software created by Google much like the Google Pixel C.

Despite these rumors, however, there still hasn't been any confirmation from Google regarding the reports, nor has there been a single image of the alleged Nexus 7 leaked on the Internet. Because of Google's silence on the Nexus 7 2016, Parent Herald reports that some techies have begun to worry that the company could forego releasing the Nexus tablet while others worry that the device could see delay with a release date pushed back to 2017.

The only solid news about the Nexus 7 that gadget lovers have had so far was an old September Tweet from a blogger named Evan Blass that indicated that the Google 7 was on track for release before the end of the year.
