Game developer The Coalition recently announced new information on their upcoming game "Gears of War 4" during the Gamescom 2016, happening now in Cologne, Germany. The company mentioned that the single player campaign will provide about 10 hours of game time. It also said that the graphical settings for PC gamers can be adjusted to their liking.
WCCFTech had the opportunity to talk to creative director Chuck Osieja, who revealed that the upcoming game's campaign modes -- single and cooperative -- will be able to provide at least 10 hours on average, depending on the difficulty setting and different playing styles of individual players. It also mentioned that the single player campaign for another game, "Titanfall 2," will offer about eight hours.
Oseija added that there is no plan yet for expansion for the game, but giving two new multiplayer maps every month for one whole year has already been discussed.
During the same event, the company revealed that PC gamers will have a number of graphic settings to adjust. Players will have full control of what they see on their screen, which also affects the game's performance. Some of the not-so-common adjustments are Temporal AA sharpening, Ambient occlusion intensity, Dynamic resolution scaling and several more, PC Gamers reported.
"Gears of War 4" is capable to provide 4K resolution, and in order to achieve the glorious display, Windows 10 machines should at least have R7 260X/750 Ti with 2GB of VRAM. Microsoft, the game publisher, suggests using an R9 290 X/RX 480 or GeForce GTX 1060 with 4GB of VRAM, while NVIDIA recommends a GeForce 980 Ti or GTX 1080 with 6GB of VRAM, another report from WCCFTech mentioned.
"Gears of War 4" will be released worldwide on Oct. 11 for the Xbox One and Windows PC. Gamers who pre-order the game will also have "Brothers to the End" Elite gear pack, which includes beloved characters from the "Gears of War" universe such as Tomorrow Anya, Old Man Marcus and Zombie Dom. The Elite Gear pack also includes the Gold Wave Lancer and Gold Wave Gnasher.
