Ever since "Frozen" marched into theaters and into the hearts of millions worldwide, there was no doubt in anyone's mind that a sequel was not far from being a reality. Lo and behold, around two years later, "Frozen 2" was officially announced.

With its heartwarming tale and dazzling visuals, it would certainly be no easy task to top the first "Frozen" film. There is no shortage of speculations regarding what marvelous story the sequel will tell, ranging from LGBT issues to Anna's villainous transformation.

After an interview with MTV News, director Chris Buck sparked rumors that the second installment might take on an LGBT angle.

"I think we're very aware of what is happening in society," Buck explained. "I don't think any of us take [them] lightly, even though they can be very funny and entertaining, the messages that our movies have and the influence they can have on young people. When the kids [watch] them, they watch them over and over again, and if we don't have a decent message in there, I think we've missed an opportunity."

And now, another rumor that is taking the spotlight points to Anna becoming the antagonist in "Frozen 2." It will surely be a big change and a giant leap if it turns out to be true, as fans, many of whom are children, love the princess dearly for being different and loving.

Anna will reportedly discover her own powers, aside from the power of love, and she might even be more powerful than her icy sister, Elsa. Movie News Guide reports that the redhead might go against the ice queen using her newfound abilities.

Meanwhile, another rumor that has been going around is that of Prince Hans returning to Arendelle to help protect it, resulting in a surprising theory that he will manage to sweep Elsa off of her feet and win her love.

If all these speculations turn out to be true, it would certainly be interesting to see how Disney plans to play them all out, especially after the events of "Frozen" and its consequential success.
