'Fresh off the Boat' season 2 premiere spoilers: what to expect

 ABC

ABC's comedy sitcom "Fresh off the Boat" will be back for new episodes this month and fans are sure in for another dose of laughter.

For the upcoming season 2, it was revealed that Jessica (Constance Wu) will venture into business with her neighbor and now best friend, Honey (Chelsey Crisp), as reported in TV Line. This also means that Crisp will now be a regular in the show.

According to the show's executive producer Nahnatchka Khan who told the news outlet, an opportunity arrives for Jessica and Honey, who then decide to willingly accept it then and there.

It wasn't revealed what business the two will be engaged in but as Fashion&Style reported, it could be somewhere in the lines of real estate because Jessica just passed a realtor exam back in season 1.

Season 2 will also give light to the stories of Evan and Emery, played by Ian Chen and Forrest Wheeler, respectively, Eddie Huang's (Hudson Yang) younger brothers in the premiere episode.

Khan went on to reveal that Evan will be dealing with the fact that he won't be a baby for long and he won't be dealing with it with ease.

TV Line also revealed a bonus spoiler stating that the Huangs will be going on a holiday. Khan even hinted that the show could feature an episode where the family would be celebrating Chinese New Year just in time for February.

Fashion&Style also reported that the Huangs will be out on a vacation to an amusement park and will be relaxing at a nearby resort.

But their trip, although promised with fun, will also be expensive and will surely surprise Louis (Randall Park).

That wouldn't stop him from letting his wife Jessica experience relaxation though, as he will reportedly book a spa for her.

As for guest stars, it was revealed that one of the episodes will feature basketball legend Shaquille O'Neal.

According to a report from The Hollywood Reporter, O'Neal will appear in the third episode of season 2, which will bear the title "Shaquille O'Neal Motors." It's expected that Eddie will surely be thrilled to finally meet his idol.

More hilarious episodes are set when "Fresh off the Boat" season 2 will return to ABC on Tuesday, Sept 22, at 8:30 p.m. EST.
