Game developer Microsoft Studios has recently unveiled the "Alpinestars Car Pack" for its best-selling racing game, "Forza Horizon 3." Fans grabbing the pack will get to experience seven new cars. The latest car pack contains a mix of hypercars, drifting machines, American and Australian muscle cars, and performance cars. Snow covered roads will also arrive in the game soon.
Topping the list is 2017 Acura NSX, a hybrid supercar. It is a twin-turbo, all-wheel drive, mid-engine performance car. The NSX contains a 3.5-liter V6 engine that delivers 650 horsepower at high speed and three electric motors during slower speeds.
Two drifting legends are also included in the pack, 1998 Nissan Silvia K's and the 1990 Mazda Savanna RX-7. An SR20DET motor engine with variable valve timing and a large turbo drives the K's, while the RX-7 contains the 13B engine known for its two-rotor design, turbocharger, and other engine refinements.
A piece of Australian racing history is also included this time in the form of the 1967 Ford Falcon XR GT. This muscle car has a monstrous V8 engine, also known as the Windsor, which is 4.7-liter (289 ci) engine. It cemented its name in the racing history in Bathurst–Mount Panorama circuit.
"Forza Horizon 3" aficionados can also experience the American Club Racer (ACR) version of the 2016 Dodge Viper. Its long nose contains a V10 8.4-liter engine, while its end tail contains a massive wing that produces around 2,000 pounds of downward force. It also contains super slick tires with shallow grooves, just to make it street legal.
Additionally, the latest offering from developer Playground Games also includes the 2016 BMW M4 GTS and the 1979 Talbot Lotus Sunbeam.
Microsoft Studios also mentioned that the first expansion pack for the game will have an exciting road to travel on. Since it will be winter soon, road conditions of the game will definitely be affected later this year.
"Forza Horizon 3" is now available for the Xbox One and Windows PC. Players with the Car Pass can now download the "Alpinestars Car Pack." Others can purchase it separately for $6.99 at the Microsoft Store.
