The Walking Dead Season 5 has ended but fans don't have to worry about waiting that long. Apparently the much talked about spinoff series will be as early this summer and proof to that is that it already has a working title – Fear the Walking Dead.

The show's title was spilled over in Twitter by executive producer Robert Kirkman.

Fear the Walking Dead will not be related to the comic book version and will give fans a chance to see new characters set in the same world but in a different location, Los Angeles.

As most zombie movies, the show will start with an outbreak of zombies and show how society fell apart in the process. The spinoff should address some questions in mind, particularly the ones who may be wondering if other parts of the world (at that time period) could be dealing with the undead as well.

Leading the cast for the Fear of the Walking Dead are Kim Dickens from Gone Girl, Cliff Curtis, Frank Dillane, and Alycia Debnam Carey.

The initial season will be composed of six one-hour episodes. And while the series has yet to air officially, this early indications are that the Fear the Walking Dead series looks to be promising.

Fact of the matter is, the series is already assured of a second season which further antes up the expectations on the said spinoff series.
