"Fallout" developer Bethesda has announced that Automatron, the first-ever "Fallout 4" DLC, will be released on March 22. The game studio also released a trailer teeming with brawling robots to show how fun and exhilarating the upcoming add-on is.

The Automatron "Fallout 4" DLC centers on a new enemy called Mechanist, who let loose a flock of evil robots in the Commonwealth, including one called Robobrain. Players will need to track down these mechanoids and can even collect robot components they could use in building their own robots.

In assembling android companions, "Fallout 4" players have tons of mods to choose from. They can opt for mixing together limbs, armor, abilities and weapons "like the all-new lightning chain gun." Paint schemes and voices are also customizable.

Automatron is priced at $9.99 and will be released to the PS4, Xbox One and PC. Players ought to know that the "Fallout 4" DLC was designed for characters that are at level 15 and beyond. A closed beta for the add-on will be conducted prior to its March 22 release.
