The FA Cup Final 2015 takes place on Saturday with Arsenal taking on Aston Villa for one of the most prestigious cups in worldwide football. The Gunners will be hoping to successfully defend the title they won 12 months ago, however, Villa will have other thoughts, and even though Arsenal will be big favorites, anything can happen on the day.

Today's big FA Cup Final 2015 between Arsenal and Aston Villa has a scheduled start time of 5.30 p.m. BST (12.30 p.m. ET) from Wembley Stadium in London. The game can be watched online through live stream via the link below.

In team news ahead of the final, Gunners' striker Danny Welbeck is out as he has not been able to recover in time from his knee injury. That will be a big blow for Arsenal, but it is believed Theo Walcott will start up front instead after his hat-trick last week. Jack Wilshere will start on the bench, but is likely to play a part at some point as an impact player.

For Villa, Shay Given has been declared fit and will play after recovering from a groin injury. He will be a big player as Aston Villa participate in their first cup final for 15 years.

The Gunners will be hoping to win their second trophy in just two seasons today, after going nine seasons without winning anything. Last year in the FA Cup Final, Arsenal had to rely on an extra time winner from Aaron Ramsey to defeat Hull City 3-2.

Ramsey said: "To score a winner in the FA Cup final, it's everybody's dream and I managed to live it. To finally win something after all those years and the pressure that has been put on this club was such a nice feeling of relief to finally win something. We never do it easy. We've experienced what it's like now, going a few goals behind early in the game, but we still believed in ourselves and our ability to get through it."

He added, "Hopefully it will be a bit easier this time and we won't have to put so many people through that. Villa are a good team, very solid and of late they've been in really good form, so we'll have to be aware of that."

The FA Cup history between these two teams is rich, with the clubs meeting 10 times in the competition over the years, with Arsenal winning seven times, compared to three for Villa. However, this will be the first time that these teams have contested an FA Cup Final.

Even though most don't know it, Aston Villa are one of the most successful FA Cup sides in England. They have won the competition seven times - although each of those titles came between 1887 and 1957 - and only three teams have won the FA Cup more times than the midlands club. One of those teams happens to be Arsenal though, who have won the FA Cup 11 times. Along with Manchester United, Arsenal hold the record for most FA Cup wins, and the Gunners will be hoping to hold the record outright by winning again today for a 12th time.

Today's big FA Cup Final between Arsenal and Aston Villa has a scheduled start time of 5.30 p.m. BST (12.30 p.m. ET) and can be watched online through live stream by clicking here.
