Erica Mena and Bow Wow have been tight-lipped when it comes to rumors about their on-again, off-again relationship. However, one of them recently broke their silence and decided to talk about their controversial love affair.

In an interview with VH1, the "Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood" star said that people just seem to be so interested in her personal life.

"This past year I've had time to get my life back in the sense where now my recent [relationship] status has everyone wondering, 'Are they together? Are they not together?'" adding that her love affair is not on TV so she doesn't owe people any explanation.

What's clear at this point is that Mena and Bow Wow are over. Earlier this month, Mena had a social media feud with Bow Wow, with the former accusing the latter of being a woman beater.

Now, based on most of her posts on Twitter, the 28-year-old hip hop star seems to be cool with her recent breakup.

Her latest tweets are saying something more positive this time, which was contrary to the ill comments she posted, which had already been deleted.

One Twitter post dated Dec. 29 stated, "I went to thank God for all the things that didn't happen. Thanked him for all the things that he stopped since I didn't know any better."

This is in contrast to a compilation of Snapchat videos posted last Dec. 9, which showed Mena ranting about her breakup. She was even saying, "One thing I learned was that you cannot trust a snake."

Later on in the video, Mena changed her Snapchat mood and somewhat preached that she doesn't know the reason why she has to go through the things that she's been through, but what's important is to have faith in God.

She keeps emphasizing that everything happens for a reason and that "God removes people from your life" for a reason.

Mena also mentioned that life is now different and "life is great." "What I was dwelling on last week is making me smile this week," she said.

Meanwhile, Bow Wow remains silent about the breakup. Instead, he's busy with the New Year's Eve party that he organized.
